Dr. William Ekane, Servant Leader of New Life Fellowship Global Ministries, along with his wife, Grace, have resided in the United States from 1979 to 1989, and from 1995 to present day. Dr. Ekane has been serving as lead pastor of New Life Fellowship since 1999.
They have been blessed with seven delightful children: Caleb, Ruth, Joshua, Zipporah, Samuel, Sandra, and Leslie, who are all serving the Lord. They have eight grandchildren and counting.
Grace, a Registered Nurse, serves the Lord with intense dedication at her husband's side. She regards her place in the medical profession as an opportunity for ministry and has been used by God to share Jesus and her faith with numbers of patients during her daily work at the hospital.
Dr. Ekane has spent his entire professional life as an educator and has worked with students at every level, from 1st grade through the final stage of the doctorate program.
After completing his doctorate in Instructional Technology from Syracuse University in New York, Dr. Ekane taught at Syracuse and later in the only bilingual university in Cameroon. While teaching at the University of Yaounde, Cameroon, he served concurrently as Associate Pastor, evangelist, and teacher at his local church. Later, from 1996 through 1999, he taught as Associate Professor of Education at Grambling State University, Grambling, Louisiana, where he published several articles.
Twenty-four years ago, Dr. Ekane received God's call to full-time Christian service. Since then he has been privileged to proclaim the wonderful Gospel message in three continents. He is an inspiring preacher, a caring person, a good listener, and a compassionate counselor.
In addition, he has extensive multicultural experience, having studied, taught, and preached in Africa, Europe, and America. Recently, Dr. Ekane released a powerful primer of the essential doctrines of Christianity, proving the supremacy of the Bible to tackle modern-day dilemmas in Seven Pillars of Christianity.
